2012 Team USA Basketball Exhibition Live Games Schedule

The 2012 Team USA basketball will be preparing for the 2012 London Olympics this summer with a busy schedule of practices and exhibition games.  Fans can watch the games live streaming online, or on television via the ESPN network.  They’ll be in for a treat as stars like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, and Kobe Bryant battle against their various opponents.

The Team USA that will represent the United States for the upcoming 2012 London Olympics is one of the best squads that has ever been assembled. The team is composed of star players from different teams in the NBA and for all those who follow the  league, they know what these guys are capable of. One of the biggest problems for this team right now though is that there are a lot of players who are getting injured. One of the latest injuries to haunt the team is the knee injury of Blake Griffin. The team has already been finalized and as a part of the roster, he will have to be replaced if the injury is more serious than expected and this will greatly affect team USA basketball.

This team is low on quality big men because some of the best big men in the league like Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh cannot play because of injury. Team USA will have to rely on the skills of Kevin Durant and LeBron James who are two of the best players in the league right now. The squad is also hoping that the guards like Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul can provide easy transition points for them because the team is young and fast which means that they should be able to run and get quick points.

Though the players that have been assembled are not fully familiar with how each other play yet, they will have time to figure things out and prepare for the upcoming summer Olympics in London.  There have been practice sessions and an exhibition game against Dominican Republic held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 2012 Team USA basketball schedule will include games against Brazil on the 16th of July, Great Britain on the 19th, Argentina on the 22nd, and Spain on the 24th.  The Great Britain game will take place there, but Team USA shouldn’t have to worry about being the visitors as fans will flock to see them compete.  The latter two games will be held in Spain.  Aside from these exhibition games, the team will have multiple practice sessions in between to get more acquainted with each other and to build up team chemistry which is very important.
