2012 Indianapolis 500 TV and Live Stream Info

Get ready race fans, it’s time for the 2012 Indianapolis 500! Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be the site of the major sports event on Sunday, May 27th, with ABC broadcasting the race. There will also be live streaming options online for fans to “ride along” with their drivers of choice!

ABC will begin showing the Indy 500 race coverage at 11AM EST. The race itself gets started at 12PM EST. This year’s event will also feature live streaming video footage right from inside the car you choose, in addition to ABC’s televised coverage!

The ESPN3/WatchESPN website is handling the live stream camera feeds on their sports broadband site. The website lists the following 12 drivers as those that fans can “ride along with” and watch their on-Board camera footage.

The ESPN live streaming Indy 500 on-board cams begin showing at 12PM EST in conjunction with the race. While the race itself will not be available online, there are live scoring and leaderboard updates available at IndyCar.com.  This innovative technology will be perfect for auto racing fans to watch the race and keep an eye on who is leading, along with current times online.

Who will win the 2012 edition of the Indianapolis 500? It should be a great race, as right now the favorites include Ryan Briscoe (5-2), Helio Castroneves (5-1), Will Power (5-1), James Hinchcliffe (7-1), and Marco Andretti (8-1).
