ESPN Tournament Challenge 2012 – NCAA Bracket Contest is Back!

The ESPN Tournament Challenge 2012 edition is ready for fans to sign up and prepare to make their picks. That’s because, it’s that time of year again, March Madness, and with that comes the tournament challenge. This is a fun thing to do with your friends and family. Everybody can pick their own teams and then see who the winners are. However, ESPN has upped the ante with its online version where you can compete against fans across the country and around the world, as well as celebrities making their predictions!
The ESPN Tournament challenge page is here. After Selection Sunday 2012 reveals the field, start off by picking the teams you think will win each game and start filling up your brackets. You can pick teams by their colors, mascots or the area you live in. Want to get everybody pick last year’s losers, upsets always happen when trying to pick the right team, so do not the numbers influence you. It does not cost anything to participate in this competition. The grand prize for 1 lucky winner will be a $10,000.00 Best Buy gift card from ESPN’s contest.
There are 63 games played with the Second Round starting March 15th and you earn points for each game you pick right. As the games continue the point value increases with each round of the tournament finishing up with the championship game on April 2nd. You only have a certain amount of time to add an entry or change anything on your brackets, it must be done before the start of the first game on Thursday, March 15th.
Before committing your picks there are bracket analyzers and predictors out there, just to make it a safe pick. With so many different avenues available to find out all you can about a certain team the research and analyzing can be one of the best parts.
Just winning against your family and friends is great, but the grand prize is a chance to win a $10,000 gift card and that makes the win even sweeter. So, do your homework and study statistics and any other tips you can find about your picks, download your bracket, fill it out and join in the fun.
