2012 NIT Basketball Tournament Printable Bracket Available

The 2012 NIT Basketball tournament printable bracket has now been released!  Here at Sports Ticket Soup we will provide more coverage of the NCAA Tournament bracket schedule, matchups, teams, games and results.  However, we realize that the fans of schools around the country will also be cheering on teams for the NIT!The National Invitation Tournament (NIT) will be celebrating its 75th anniversary this season.  There will be 32 teams competing in four bracket sections, seeded 1 through 8.  All of the higher seeds in each matchup will be the host school and hold the games on their campus or homecourt.  The one exception will be Dayton traveling to play at Iowa.   This is due to the fact that Dayton, Ohio is the host area for the First Four games of the NCAA tournament held on Tuesday and Wednesday, and several other games in the second round.

Among the top seeds competing in the NIT will be Washington, Seton Hall, Tennessee, and Arizona.  Check out the complete printable NIT bracket for 2012 below!  Click on the image below to get a larger printable bracket.

The 2012 NIT tournament games get underway on Tuesday, March 13th with the first round.  ESPN has announced they will bring coverage of all of the games of the NIT on their network via their channels including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and their live streaming website, ESPN3.  Game times are to be announced.
