NCAA Tournament 2012 Brackets: South Region Teams & Schedule

On Sunday, March 11th, the NCAA Tournament 2012 brackets will be officially revealed to the masses! After the major announcement is made, we’ll have a clear picture of which teams are seeded where in the four different regions. This article will provide a preview of all the games from the NCAA tournament’s 2012 South region.
The 2012 NCAA Tournament South Regional will be the Atlanta, Georgia region. The host school will be Georgia Tech, with games played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. The winner of this regional advances to the Final Four in New Orleans, LA.
Teams seeded in this region will play on Thursday, March 15th and/or Friday, March 16th for the second round. Television coverage will be available on CBS, TBS, and TNT, with live streaming video also available from the iTunes app store and Android Market.
Currently, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi projects the North Carolina Tarheels as the #1 seed in the South. They’ll join 15 other teams in the dance. Once they’ve been revealed on Selection Sunday, we’ll have the second round NCAA tournament bracket matchups for the South Region listed below!
