NCAA Tournament 2012 Brackets: Midwest Region Teams & Schedule

The NCAA Tournament 2012 brackets will be officially revealed on Sunday, March 11th. That’s what Selection Sunday arrives for avid fans of March Madness, and the team matchups for the four regions will be unveiled. This article will provide a preview of the NCAA tournament’s 2012 Midwest region.

The 2012 NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional will be the St. Louis, Missouri region. The host school will be Saint Louis University, with games played at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri.  The winner of this regional advances to the Final Four in New Orleans, LA.

Teams seeded in this region will play on Thursday, March 15th and/or Friday, March 16th for the second round.  Television coverage will be available on CBS, TBS, and TNT, with live streaming video also available from the iTunes app store and Android Market.

Joe Lunardi of ESPN’s Bracketology currently projects the Kentucky Wildcats to get the #1 seed in the Midwest.  Once they’ve been revealed on Selection Sunday, we’ll have the complete second round NCAA tournament bracket matchups for the Midwest Region listed below!

The Second Round games of the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament for 2012 will begin on March 15th, 2012!
