2011-2012 College Bowl Game Schedule – Dates, Times & TV Coverage

On Sunday night the 2011-2012 College Bowl schedule was officially released for the various NCAA football games. Games will begin on December 18th and continue up until the BCS Championship game played on January 9th.

As expected, #1 LSU will take on #2 Alabama in a rematch of their previous game for the Allstate BCS National Championship Game. The game is scheduled for January 9th at the Louisiana Superdome. ESPN will handle coverage of the game with an 8:30 PM EST start time.

Many fans may be disappointed with the pairing, as there are plenty who believe Alabama already lost once to LSU and it won’t determine anything if they win the second game to even the series.  Unfortunately, Oklahoma State failed to make it to this big game based on the BCS rankings. Instead, the Cowboys will play in the Fiesta Bowl against Stanford, another team with just 1 loss on the season. This game is set for January 2nd at 8:30PM on ESPN and should make for an interesting matchup of two top teams.

Other big games will be the Rose Bowl featuring Oregon and Wisconsin, the Orange Bowl featuring Clemson and West Virginia, and the Gator Bowl featuring Ohio State and Florida. See the complete 2011-2012 Bowl Game schedule below!
