2011 US Open Golf Live Stream Online Coverage

The US Open Golf 2011 Championship tournament will open today, Thursday, June 16th, 2011.  Lee Westwood, Phil Mickelson, Luke Donald and Rory McIlroy will be among the top golfers in action competing for the big win.  The great news for fans of pro golf is that there will be several ways to watch all the action via US Open golf live streaming online coverage!

One of the live video services will come from ESPN3.  In addition to ESPN offering coverage of the First and Second Rounds on Thursday and Friday, they will have live streaming video coverage online.  The ESPN3 video service for the US Open 2011 begins offering live streams at 10AM EST, 1PM EST and 5PM EST on Thursday.  The same schedule will apply to the ESPN3 live streams for the US Open on Friday for the second round.  See more info here at ESPN3′s website.

Not only will ESPN3 offer these live streams, but so will the US Open website’s Live Video feature.  This video will give exclusive live Marquee Group video coverage online starting on Thursday, June 16th.  There may be coverage of various parts of the course offered as the weekend’s tournament progresses.  An iPod/iPhone/iPad US Open app is also being offered as a companion to all the coverage online and on TV.  See the US Open Live Video section for more information.
