2011 Belmont Stakes TV Schedule & Streaming Online Coverage

The 2011 Belmont Stakes will be the 143rd edition of this prestigious race held at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York on Saturday.  There will be coverage on multiple channels for this race, as well as a live streaming feed online for viewing the latest horse race event.

There will be plenty of Belmont Stakes TV coverage between two stations and the world wide web for 2011.  Cable channel Versus will have coverage of the race starting Friday and continuing on Saturday.  They’ll have a Belmont post-race show on Saturday evening as well.

NBC Sports will handle the official television coverage for the 2011 Belmont Stakes race.  The coverage will begin at 5PM EST and run until 7PM EST on NBC stations around the globe.  The show is hosted by Bob Costas with Tom Hammond and two-time Preakness Stakes winner Gary Stevens.  There will be reports from Kenny Rice and Donna Brothers from the track.  Also, handicappers Mike Battaglia and Bob Neumeier will provide their analysis for this race.

Friday, Belmont Classics, 4-5 p.m., VERSUS

Friday, Live from Belmont, 5-6 p.m., VERSUS

Saturday, Live from Belmont, 3-5 p.m., VERSUS

Saturday, Belmont Wrap-up, 7-7:30 p.m., VERSUS

Not only will this thoroughbred race be shown on television but also via the internet.  The NBC Sports website will offer 2011 Belmont Stakes live streaming video footage online.  This live video feed on NBCSports.com will allow fans to watch and hear the race coverage.  It will also include a special camera that is focused on the 2011 Kentucky Derby winner, Animal Kingdom.

The 2011 Belmont Stakes post time is approximately 6:30 PM EST on Saturday night.  Make sure to catch all of the action prior to the race on Versus, and then the race itself on NBC or NBCSports.com!
