Saturday will be the 136th running of the Black-Eyed Susans! Many fans will be horse racing spectators come Saturday evening. The Preakness Stakes 2011 results including winning and full order of finish will be given here at Sports Ticket Soup.
As many fans are aware, this is the second leg for the potential Triple Crown for US Thoroughbred horse racing. The Preakness Stakes 2011 begins with TV coverage of the Preakness 2011 undercard at 2:30 PM EST on Versus, and then Preakness 2011 TV coverage at 4:30 PM EST on NBC. Official post time is scheduled for 6:05PM EST at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland.
Currently, Animal Kingdom remains odds on favorite at 2 to 1 to win the 2011 Preakness Stakes race, following its win at the Kentucky Derby. Dialed In is a 9 to 2 favorite, Mucho Macho Man is a 6 to 1 favorite, while Shackleford and Dance City remain 12 to 1 favorites for Saturday. Congratulations to Shackleford for the victory today. Animal Kingdom made a strong push at the finish, but it was too late in the race. Unfortunately we won’t have a Triple Crown winner in 2011, but we still have an exciting Belmont Stakes which Animal Kingdom could win!
