There will be a handful of UFC 129 fights offered via the live stream video feed, thanks to Ultimate Fighting Championship. The UFC has continued to offer its preliminary matches for major Pay-Per-Views in this way, as a great way for fans to see MMA action. These Facebook fights are offered in addition to several prelims that air on SPIKE TV.
The UFC 129 Pay-Per-View event will be one of the biggest to date, taking place in Canada on Saturday, April 29th, 2011. While George St-Pierre vs Jake Shields is the main attraction, there’s several other huge matches, including Randy Couture in his announced final fight against Lyoto Machida. Jose Aldo and Mark Hominick will also clash over the Featherweight Championship.
Also for this huge PPV event, there will be five preliminary fights offered for free online via the UFC Facebook page.
Here’s the official UFC 129 prelim fight card:
Claude Patrick (CAN) vs. Daniel Roberts (USA) (Welterweight)
Ivan Menjivar (VAN) vs. Charlie Valencia (USA) (Bantamweight)
Jason MacDonald (CAN) vs. Ryan Jensen (USA) (Middleweight)
John Makdessi (CAN) vs. Kyle Watson (USA) (Lightweight)
Yves Jabouin (CAN) vs. Pablo Garza (USA) (Featherweight)
That’s some major mixed martial arts action offered for free by Ultimate Fighting Championship. This is going to be an intense battle to see whether Canada or the USA wins more of these prelim fights ahead of the big UFC 129 main fight card.
To view these fights, fans need to be on Facebook and have their own profile. Next, they’ll need to “Like” the UFC’s official Facebook page ahead of the event. Then at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT, visit the Facebook page to see UFC 129 live stream video feed of the five preliminary fights listed above!
